Every year, a few times a year… the Physical Therapy profession freaks out about its economic future. Reimbursement is going down… payment is getting capped… copays are going up… student loans are getting higher… new grads aren’t making more with the higher level of degree — The thing is: This isn’t new. It’s ALWAYS been this way.
AND, the problem isn’t the value proposition of Physical Therapists. The problem is that we are ONLY trying to solve this equation with 8% market share of all the people who need our services for their musculoskeletal, movement, and physical health needs.
